WALK INSIDE!

Over the years we collect  moments experienced with our teacher, because every one is important to  improve the way we feel, think and live this practice. At the end of the lesson, in my DROPBACKS, that is to stand up and go down for a so-called "bridge" and return to stand,  Sharath was speaking with one of the assistants,  explaining  to her how she should do CATCHING, that is, bringing the hands of  the students in the "bridge" to grab their own ankles. During practice we hear the voice of Sharath saying, WALK INSIDE. YOU WALK INSIDE, meaning, you there, walking with your hands in the direction of your feet. Because when we start reducing the gap between the hands and feet, we gain greater insight from the intense work of the legs, also focus on the ability to relieve any tension in the lumbar and sacral area, creating space in the column for we can open all the front body, we also developed structure to stretch our arms, and maintain a balanced and stable breathing. It is an intense posture, but  with huge benefits - from stretching the chest and lungs, strengthens legs, buttocks, spine and abdomen, arms and wrists, balances the thyroid gland, increases the energy of our body, and our immune system, and  has a therapeutic effect on depression, among many others.
As I went up and down  in my Dropbacks,  i felt him next to me talking to the assistant, explaining what she should do. Inside me I thought, "Ui! I  do not want to be her guinea pig!" But instead for her, he was the one you appeared in front of me,  inside me  i said, "Ui! Today i will have to do it!". He begins to adjust me, 1, 2, 3 half movements,  with my synchronized breathing every time I went down and up, at the forth time when I supposedly put my hands to the ground,  and walk in the direction of my feet, for after he would adjust my hands to grab above the ankles, i  repair a split second, he was going to take me through the air directly to the ankles. I still had time to say to myself, "girl you relaxxxxxx!" and he took my right hand, and told me something like "Vera very Good!", and I breathe I sent to myself again, "RELAXXX YOUR BODY AND BREATH GIRL!" as he wisely grabbed my  left hand and took her directly above my left ankle, and again i got from  him a "Vera, very Good!". I did not have the slightest pain, restriction of movement, or uncomfortable, I was breathing quietly. I was enjoying that moment, so good moment! But it did not last long. When I was with my Ego all happy to be there, proud of the first Catching of the season through the air! I see and feel the hand of Sharath to pull my right hand more above and thought, "BREATHE VERAAAAA!" and I breathed, he also told me something to be calm,  i do not even remember what it was, everything was intense, there is no pain, but the experience is intense, especially when we did not receive any adjustment in this position for a year and a half! Then  i also grabbed with left hand my left ankle, but  less than a second and let it go. He said, "OHHH VERA!".  In an apologetic manner i  told him in English, while controlling the breath to be able to talk, "was the first Catching of the season!". And he told me almost in my ear, "but it already passed 18 days! Why are  you so afraid ?!" and I heard, I continued to smile and entered the PASCIMATTANASA, breathed, thanked him and went away to finish practice in the changing room, as it is normal. Of course that his words came with me! The lesson I take from this?
It is the courage that this man gives to each student, the wise hands in his adjustments, going  surgically to the right place,  not giving us any pain. The inspiration and motivation that gives  us for enter  into the positions, to withdraw greatest benefit of each. WALK INSIDE PEOPLE FROM OUR HOUSE, not only in this position, but in all that you have. Without pain, not forcing, but by breathing, with courage in your heart and focus in the mind. Happy practicing!
